“ Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph."

Matt Hardy

My name is Max Zinkov, and in my life is a vision. I was born in Odessa, Ukraine and I immigrated to the United States with my family. My passion for photography was sparked at the ripe age of 14 when I received my very first camera as a birthday present. The 1976 Canon AE-1 35mm film camera opened my eyes to the world. I started simple, shooting family events and vacations. As I was growing up through high school and college, the AE-1 would travel with me as my companion. Then, after years of shooting a film camera, I decided it was time to upgrade to the digital age.

I have to admit that I was very reluctant in switching to a digital camera, but after working with a digital camera I fell in love. One of the biggest perks of working with digital technology is the software processing. All my shots receive individual post processing treatment. I am extremely detail oriented by nature; therefore, no detail is overlooked.

My passion for photography has been fueled by my love to travel. I have been fortunate to travel to Europe, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean Islands, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and Canada. The wide array of these cultural exposures has opened my mind and furthered my passion for the art of photography. I live life in the moment, and capture every astounding element.

I enjoy shooting a wide array of categories; anything from architecture to weddings and everything in between. I especially enjoy shooting automobiles. I have been fortunate to be part of a car club family, Z Cars of Nebraska, since 2005. If your family or organization would like to capture that special event, go to my contact page and send me a message.

Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you see something you like.
